Arrive in Chennai, the capital of the Tamil Nadu state on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. Welcome by our representative and escorted transfer to hotel for check in.
In Chennai we make guided tour with visits to the St. George Fort, St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery.
After breakfast drive to the historic town of Mahabalipuram, where we will take a guided tour of the Shore Temple , The Five Rathas , The Arjuna's Penance and the rock-cut Tiger cave temple complex, all part of the UNESCO Wolrd Heritage site.
During the sightseeing, you can also make a visit to one of the sculpture studios to know more in detail about sculpturing and possible souvenir shopping.

Arrive in Pondicherry around mid-day.
During the day, we will visit the spiritual community of Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville.
After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel, we start the journey to Tanjore.
Check in to your hotel and later we make a tour of the 1000 year old Brigadeeshwara Temple- built by Raja Raja Cholan. You may visit the local market to get hands on some wonderful souvenirs.
We drive to Trichy to visit the Rockfort Temple for a panoramic view of the town. Later we arrive at Tirupur- a main textile town of Tamil Nadu, we visit a yarn manufacturing unit to learn the process of manufacturing famous Indian cotton yarn.
By evening we arrive at Coimbatore for overnight stay.
Today is day of excitement as we will be taking a ride in one of the oldest rail networks in India- the Nilgiri rail. We start early from hotel with a packed breakfast, we drive to Mettuppalayam railway station, set on the base of the Nilgiris mountain range to board your train bound to the high range destination of Ooty.
The train leaves Mettuppalayam station by 0710 Hrs. Enjoy the scenic journey of about 5 hrs as your train passes through lush green mountains, streams, waterfalls, narrow bridges and dark tunnels cutting through the nilgiris to arrive at Ooty by 12 Noon.
Transfer to your hotel and relax in the comfort of your hotel for the rest of the day.
You have the option of visiting the famous Botanical Garden of Ooty in the afternoon.
Full day enjoy sightseeing with visits to Doddabetta peak and observatory, Kalhatti falls, Dolphin Nose view point and the Ooty Lake.

After breakfast, drive towards Wayanad, the spice hub of the Malabar region.
Drive past the small town of Masinagudi on the winding roads with over 36 hair pin bends, to arrive at Muthanga Wildlife sanctuary by late noon. Embark on an open jeep safari into the wild, if lucky one can spot many wild animals like deers, boars, gaur, elephants, etc.
Overnight stay at Wayanad.
We start the day with visit to the pre-historic cave at Edakkal, Banasur Sagar Dam followed by a short trek to Meenmutty falls.
Kannur - home of the celestial spirits of Kerala- Theyyam. By sundown, we will be visiting a local temple to witness a Theyyam performance
Overnight stay at Kannur.
After breakfast at hotel, visit to St Angelo Fort, Payyambala Beach, Kanhirode weaving society/ Beedi Manufacturing unit, Parassinikadavu Temple, Arakkal Kettu Museum & Muzhippilangad Drive-in Beach.
Later we drive to Kasargod and check in to resort for relaxing stays on the beach.
At leisure to enjoy the sun & sand.
Transfer to Kannur/ Mangalore airport for onward journey.
