Itinerary

Day 1: Calicut

  • Arrival at Calicut

    Calicut, also known as the Kozhikode was the kingdom of erstwhile Zamorin. On arrival you will be escorted to the hotel by our team.

  • Visit to Historical places

    At noon we embark on a journey through the history of Calicut, exploring the glorious past of the place. We visit the Mishkal Mosque in Kuttichira, which was built with the blessings of the Hindu Kings, making it a symbol of Kerala's religious harmony.

  • Visit to Beypore

    The port town of Beypore is popular for wooden ships. We visit the wooden ship building yard to see how each wooden ship, popularly called Uru, is being made with finest teak wood from Nilambur.

  • Sunset on Beypore Beach

    Catch a glimpse of mesmerising sunset from Beypore.

  • Visit to SM Street

    A walk through the bustling SM street where you can spend some time shopping

Day 2: Kozhikode- Nilambur - Meppadi

  • Trip to Nilambur

    Nilambur is famous for its teak plantations set up by the British rulers. The Teak Museum at Nilambur neatly sketches the history of teak plantations in the region and houses the largest living teak tree in the world.

  • Visit to Cannoli Plot

    Cannoli Plot, set up in 1840s is home to numerous teak trees. Every type of teak tree can be found here.

  • Arrival at Wayanad

    We leave for Wayanad after lunch through the picturesque Nadukani Ghats, which is situated amidst the dense forest. We arrive at the resort in the evening for a soothing overnight stay.

Day 3: Wayanad

  • Visit to Soochipara waterfalls

    One of the most popular tourist attractions in Kerala, Soochipara waterfalls give you a mesmerising experience.

  • Visit to Chembra Peak

    It is the highest peak in Wayanad which gives a breathtaking aerial view of the dense forest and hills, adorned by mist

  • Trip to Edakkal Caves

    The Prehistoric caves of Edakkal is a paradise for explorers and adventurers. It lies 1200m above sea level.

Day 4: Wayanad - Kannur

  • Visit to Banasura Sagar Dam and Meenmutty waterfalls

    Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earth dam in India and second largest in Asia. It is situated at the foothills of Banasura hills. After visiting the dam, we proceed to the beautiful Meenmutty waterfalls.

  • Arrival at Kannur

Day 5 : Kannur

  • Visit to St Angelo Fort

    The fort, facing the Arabian Sea, is a historically significant place in Kannur. It was a crucial fort for military activities during the Dutch and Portugese reign in India.

  • Visit to Payyambala Beach and Parassinikadavu Temple

    Payyambala Beach is a popular destination in Kannur. The culturally significant Parassinikadavu Temple, whose divinity is presented as a ritualistic theyyam enactment in two versions called Thiruvappana and Vellattam.

  • Visit to Muzhippilangadi Beach

    It is the only drive in beach in Kerala where you can enjoy the waves, sea and sun while racing through the shore.

  • Theyyam Performance

    Theyyam is a ritual form of worship practised in temples mainly in Kannur and other regions of Malabar. You get a chance to watch Theyyam performers in their fully dedicated act, which gives a unique experience to the spectator. (Depends on availability of performance at the time of your trip)

Day 6: Kannur - Kozhikode

  • Visit to Kappad Beach

    After breakfast, drive back to Kappad beach in Calicut, the place where Vasco Da Gama first landed in India.

  • Visit to Iringal Craft Village

    It's a hub popular for handicrafts products.

Overnight stay at resort Relax on the banks of Chaliyam river with a soothing stay.

Day 7: Departure

  • Departure

    Drop off at Calicut airport for onward flight
