At noon we embark on a journey through the history of Calicut, exploring the glorious past of the place. We visit the Mishkal Mosque in Kuttichira, which was built with the blessings of the Hindu Kings, making it a symbol of Kerala's religious harmony.
The port town of Beypore is popular for wooden ships. We visit the wooden ship building yard to see how each wooden ship, popularly called Uru, is being made with finest teak wood from Nilambur.
