Documents required

  • A valid Passport issued within the last 10 years and with at least 6 months validity after the scheduled return; with at least two blank pages + all old passports if any.
  • Completely filled visa application form and declarations duly signed.
  • Covering letter from traveller stating the purpose of visit and day to day details and the same should be addressed to the Visa officer, Singapore Consulate-Chennai.
  • Covering letter from Arooha  (Only if the tour is organized by Arooha)
  • 2-3 photographs that have taken within the last 6 months (3.5’ x 4.5’ – white background – 80% face coverage 3 snaps for each pax, Taken looking straight forward and face seen clearly should be printed on good quality paper).
  • Confirmed travel booking with details of Flight itinerary, hotel booking.
  • Original bank statement (Personal & Company) of last 06 months with bank seal in A4 sheet with a minimum closing balance of Rs.40000/-.
  • Latest Income Tax Return (If available)

  • If the applicant is self-employed:
    • Business Registration License / GST / MOA / Partnership deed
    • Company’s updated bank statement of last 6 months
    • Company’s IT returns for last 3 years
  • If the applicant is employed in a firm:
    • Leave sanctioned certificate with company seal and signature
    • Last 3 months salary slip
  • If the applicant is a student:
    • Leave sanction letter, school ID card and NOC from school mentioning the dates of the trip
  • If the applicant is retired:
    • Proof of retirement like pension book, statement etc.
  • If the applicant is under 18:
    • Birth Certificate
    • No Objection Certificate from the parents / non-accompanying parent on Rs 100/- stamp paper
    • ID proof of parent
  • If visiting friend or relative & being sponsored:
    • Invitation letter legalized from the town hall
    • Inviter’s ID proof like Passport, Resident Permit
    • Financial proof such as bank statement
  • For Business visa
    • Invitation letter from the host Company includes the purpose of the trip, business details etc.
    • Covering letter from Indian company on company letterhead.

Note:

  • Covering letter and hotel confirmation will be provided by Arooha if the applicant requires.
  • Nationals of India may enter Singapore without a visa for 96 hours if they are in transit to or from any third country by air, when possessing a valid visa or long-term residence permit with validity of at least one month issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Germany or Switzerland.
  • Holders (Citizens) of the following passports who are allowed to stay for 90 days without a pre-approved Visa. Hence they can avail Visa on Arrival.
